Why should I become a member?

Become a member of Hypopara UK and you will help to build a vital network of professionals, patients and others who want to learn more and raise awareness about Hypoparathyroidism.

Please join - the larger our membership the stronger our voice with government agencies, the medical profession, research bodies, funders and other organisations. Already we have made a difference but we still have a way to go.

I am a patient. How can you help me?

Being diagnosed with a rare, lifelong condition can sometimes make you feel isolated and vulnerable. Information can be hard to find. Your doctor may not have seen another case of Hypoparathyroidism.

Hypopara UK offers support and can help you learn about your condition and how to manage it.  We can keep you up to date with research and put you in touch with others who know how you feel.

You will receive a welcome letter by return, as well as information leaflets and newsletters as they become available. Membership is free.

Once you are an Hypopara UK member you can also visit our online forum or facebook group (UK members only).

You will have access to :

our online forum
information resources,
advice from our team of doctors,
doctor search
telephone helpline
and coming soon, regional support groups.

How can you help us?

Hypopara UK is run by patients for patients. We want to keep membership free and accessible to all for as long as we can. We work hard to fundraise which is not easy for a small charity of a rare condition. So if you can afford £10 a year or £2 a month it really would make a huge difference. Please click the yellow button to donate now or click here.

How do I join?

Until we have a new online membership database, you can join Hypopara UK online via our forum. Using the forum is optional but your registration will also give you access to the member pages on the website. Click the 'Join us free' button top right>>

To complete your registration, you will be asked to send us an email containing your  name, address, email address, location, type of hypopara or hyperpara, if known and/or brief medical details.

If you do not want to register online or use the forum or the member pages, please simply email or call to register your details.
